Agriculture faces enormous challenges both in Azerbaijan and around the world, which affect the environment, economy, and health. Food demand is growing in direct proportion to the growth of the world's population. More people means greater demand and that demand in turn entails increased output. Farmers will have to produce 70 percent more food by 2050, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).The question is, will the global agricultural sector be able to keep up with demand trends, to be stable and flexible in the long run. In fact, current uses of natural resources are highly stressed. There an incomplete list of problems in the World Agriculture sector : deforestation of unsuitable land, overcutting vegetation, inadequate fallow periods, overgrazing, improper crop rotation, unbalanced fertilizer use and the most serious problem is that climate change reducing productivity. But at the same time, according to the FAO this is one of the fastest-growing sectors where artificial intelligence and an involvement of high technologies solutions have already become a part of everyday life and there is still a whole storehouse of untapped opportunities.
